This motor vehicle rampway lightings project is one of a typical example using wall-mounted luminaire to provide a beacon light’s function that helps a driver to see the roadside railing and vehicles come from the opposite direction.

The wall-mounted luminaire being used as beacon lights should only shine onto the surface of the side of rampway to navigate the driver, thus one-third of the diffuser was concealed by the trim of fitting. Basing on this criteria, 20W B3230H bulkhead was recommended and approved by the relevant authority. For emergency reason, some of the units were ftted with 2-hours rated power convertion kit that could be automatically provide battery power in case of failure of electricty supply.
